In April of '97, 3 longtime friends decided to take a leap of faith and open a restaurant in the heart of Johnston, Rhode Island.  Their vision was to create a friendly atmosphere where everyone would feel comfortable whether you were a local or just someone passing by.  To keep the guests coming back, they would provide unmatched service with great food at an inexpensive price and make sure the customer always left with a "doggie bag". 

Two decades later, the Atwood Grill is a thriving Italian restaurant serving over 100,000 customers a year.  The establishment has become a gathering spot where customers have become family to us and friends amongst each other.
